What is Tết?

Tết Nguyên Đán (Festival of the First Morning of the First Day) is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. It marks the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar Vietnamese calendar, celebrating the arrival of spring based on the Vietnamese variation of the Chinese calendar.
